Gastprofessor Luigi Nuzzo

Luigi Nuzzo is professor of Legal History and History of International Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Salento and Permanent Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung. After graduating in Law at the University of Pavia, he held a PhD in History of Medieval and Modern Law from the University of Siena.

Several times research fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für europäische Rechtsgeschichte (Frankfurt am Main), he was  Senior Robbins Research Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley; Hauser Global Research Fellow at the New York University, and Fernand Braudel Fellow at European University Institute.

Im Sommersemester 2019 wird er eine Lehrveranstaltung mit dem Titel "Colonial International Law" an der Universität Wien abhalten.
