IDLaw 2020 - Conference on Innovation and Digitalisation in Law

22.10.2020

It is our pleasure to invite you to "IDLaw 2020 - Conference on Innovation and Digitalisation in Law" on the 22nd October 2020 and will take place ONLINE.

The conference will focus on a pressing issue in data protection law, namely the discussion concerning anonymisation or pseudonymisation, or in general de-identification requirements in the GDPR. De-identification is a core concept under the GDPR since, by drawing the line between personal and non-personal data, it determines the scope of applicability of European data protection law. This topic will allow experts from different disciplines and backgrounds to shed light on some of these issues with the aim of attracting a truly interdisciplinary audience.

Furthermore, the event will bring together young and experienced experts, both having the potential to make valuable contributions to the debates at both the European and international level. The one-day event follows a format in which, in addition to keynote speakers, a panel discussion and an interactive session between senior and young academics will take place.
