Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the world's largest and most prestigious moot court competition, with participants from over 550 law schools in more than 80 countries.

The Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between two countries before the International Court of Justice, taking place in Washington, D.C. in April 2017. Teams prepare oral and written pleadings arguing both positions.

Eligibility:
• Based upon a writing sample, hearing and interview
• Motivated team player
• No prior knowledge of international law required
