Pre-Vis Conference: Conflict of Laws in Arbitration

23.03.2018

Despite claims by various authors that conflict of laws plays a limited role in arbitration, case law from numerous jurisdictions proves the opposite. It can be assumed that with the advent of new questions and new players the importance will even increase.

Based on selected contributions to the forthcoming second edtion of a book by Ferrari/Kröll (eds), Conflict of Laws in International Arbitration, the conference will address and discuss the law applicable to some of these questions.
