The University of Vienna is honored to welcome Professor Margaret Y.K. Woo as a guest professor for the winter semester 2025/2026. Professor Woo, a distinguished scholar from Northeastern University in Boston (USA), is a leading expert in Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, and Comparative Law, with a focus on the Anglo-American and Chinese socialist legal systems. She holds degrees from Brown University (AB), New York University (JD), and Georgetown University (LLM). She is a former fellow of the Bunting Institute (Radcliffe College) and is presently an associate of the East Asian Legal Studies Program at Harvard University.
